Pastor Keith D Vosler and his wife Tammy have two daughters and four sons. He has housed over 35 additional young people from anywhere between a couple weeks to several years. 

For 27 years Keith has sought by God’s grace to be a light of HOPE to urban, at risk, unsaved African American children, youth and adults in a high crime community named Englewood on the south side of Chicago with Urban Youth Outreach (Hallelujah Faith Ministries), discipling them to a working relationship with Jesus Christ. The Lord’s love has compelled him to think and go beyond the four walls of a church building viewing the streets as the church, the homes, jails and prisons as the pews and the people and gangs as a congregation in need of Christ and discipleship. He has known the power of Christ’s blood that has enabled him to bring the gospel truth to many hurting people, while being challenged to love as Christ loved through many difficult and painful situations from his childhood on up until recent days. Each difficulty has been an opportunity for him to re-examine the surpassing value of knowing Christ, thus building character, imparting joy and granting endurance.

Keith, a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with his masters degree and founder of Hallelujah Faith Ministries, was born and raised in the spacious state of Wyoming.

Those of us who have had the pleasure to serve with Pastor Keith know him as….a cliff jumper, banana rider, fight breaker upper, bull rider, freezer box raider, front ward wall rappelled, canoe tipper, trail blazer, shaky knee server, “for real” talker, strict cabin inspector, below the dock hider, cactus and grasshopper eater, conference speaker, kid dunker, night hiker, head shaved leader, “you asked for it you got it” organizer, “some mores” maker, water balloon thrower, sail boater, “where’s Keith?” minister….. And all around up front and behind the scene dependable and intense director.

Urban Youth Outreach, reaches the youth through Bible studies, discipleship, tutoring, sports and camps, visiting those in jail and occasionally housing youth in need. We are a faith outreach dependent on God to supply our every need through His church and the working of the Holy Spirit. Watch and pray with the staff, our board members, each outreach team and our supporters as God works in mighty ways.
