Practiced to Reproduce
Our job is to receive what God has for us, then incorporate that into our lives in order to teach others that they might do like wise. The child of God has a mandate, work your-self out of a job.
Focused on the Hope
Hope is a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, penetrating deep into the invisible eternal world. It is an essential and fundamental element of the Christian life, centered on Jesus Christ.
The Glory is Christ’s
God made us in-order to receive the glory due Him. When we deviate from Him we are taking away from the glory that should be rightfully God’s, we are then in sin.
Reaching Youth
God has given us a deep passion for the youth of our cities. The youth will make or break a society. To make an impact on this world the youth have to be involved.
Reaching Youth that Society Shuns
God has specifically put the youth that collect at the bottom of society’s pools as our focus. If we continue to act like this group does not exist, they will ultimately lead us to our destruction. This group holds tremendous potential with some of the world’s best-untapped God given talents, they know only face value and they don’t have time for games. They experience little justice; they have been damaged; mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. This group has also been destroyed to the core causing many to completely give up all hope leaving destruction in their paths making it the most difficult to successfully see to completion as healthy, mature, reproducing Christians. This group will give the most heartache, but it also brings the most deep felt joy. God’s heart must almost break when he sees what is happening here.
Reaching Youth in a Wholistic Manner
The foundation is scripture, which include; bible studies, discipleship, and other forms of bible teaching. Activities around this scriptural teaching would be; counseling, tutoring, housing, recreation, economic and vocational training, and a variety of other ministries.
Reaching Youth through Relationships
The urban setting is such a changing environment that there is seldom-spiritual time for friendship evangelism. Yet, lasting discipleship will depend on relationships.
Reaching Youth for the Duration
In-order to make an impact, a lifetime needs to be involved. Nothing of substance or depth ever happens over night. The Holy Spirit is our example. He sticks with us from salvation to complete salvation at the throne. We need to be in the battle, the race for salvation then maturity for as long as God allows. If we step out, be assured Satan will step in.
